Home Funeral Pricing Breakdown

It is, currently, against the law for a certified Death Doula to handle a body once a person has passed. 

The work around with this is: to sell the family  a kit of supplies that are needed and to be present at the home funeral to coach the family in what to do with the person's body once they have passed on.

• Queen bedsheet (or King if needed)

• 6 - 24 oz Cold Packs

• Eye weight

• Mouth sash

• Mouth cleaning supplies

• Bodily fluid pads

• 2 wash cloths

• 1 pack of body wipes

• The above Home Funeral Kit with additional supplies such as: aromatherapy oils, pitcher and bowl, LED wax candles, and nail care kit.

• Practicing with you, the family, with  a family member standing in for the dying person or practicing on an almost life size pillow dummy.

• Practicing body placement and/or shrouding  should that be desired

• Onsite coaching
