Second Take Funeral
​Ever experience a bad funeral? Perhaps a beloved friend or chosen family member was misrepresented or not honored as they should have been - gather for a 'second take' funeral to honor and mourn them.
Mourning Meditation
Once a month Grand Finale will host a time for those needed to process grief or a loss in a meaningful way - a variety of meditations will be offered on rotation : guided, writing, breathing, and sound.
Children's Craft
Positive Death Talk shouldn't just be for adults - bringing children together to craft an altar for lost one or a lost pet can be therapeutic and open the door for positive talk about death in a safe space
Shrouding Exercise
Interested in a death shroud? Heard of it but don't understand it? Come with your questions and watch a demonstration on empty vessel after care and the shrouding of a body (shrouding will occur on a live person)
Grief Space
Humans can grieve many things. Loss of life, loss of love, loss of work, loss of support - Modern society wants us to stuff it down and hurry up and get over it. Let us gather in a safe space and share our grief
Silent Book Club
Join others in the community for a silent book club - with a short discussion after if you wish. Books about death, grief, end of life care is encouraged as reading material of course!
