Community Offerings

I truly believe in normalizing positive death talk. Let's take the taboo out of the subject, make it less scary, less isolating, and bring back to our every day.

Second Take Funeral

Ever experience a bad funeral? Perhaps a beloved friend or chosen family member was misrepresented or not honored as they should have been - gather for a 'second take' funeral to honor and mourn them.

Children's Craft

Positive Death Talk shouldn't just be for adults - bringing children together to craft an altar for lost one or a lost pet can be therapeutic and open the door for positive talk about death in a safe space. Either with recycled paper rolls or mason jars, depending on age.

Other crafts offered throughout the year: Worry Felt Monsters, Guerilla Garden Seed Shakers, and Post Cards for our Beloved Dead.

Mourning Meditation

Once a month Grand Finale will host a time for those needed to process grief or a loss in a meaningful way - a variety of meditations will be offered on rotation : guided, writing, breathing, and art.
