Legacy
Work
To bear witness to the human saga - to record living history - is a deep calling of mine. So many stories: personal journeys, tribulations of the times that shaped you, even down to your own recipes - we cannot afford to lose knowledge and history.

The Basics
Legacy work can be very simple or very involved and has a wide range of applications.

This could look like writing down oral history : growing up in the Dust Bowl, being the first Hispanic woman to achieve a teaching degree in your county, writing down the recipes of your mother and mother's mother, cataloging photos.

This could look like taking a video as well : either a conversation interview style or a how to video of how to bake your blue ribbon pie.

If the family does not want this history or have room for it (ie. a large collection of memorabilia, photos, or personal library) I can reach out to local historical societies so that this history can be used in preservation or as educational tools.
